How a MindNavigator report is built
Don't trust us for who we say we are — trust us for how we work.
- 1
Science-based assessment
Questions grounded in peer-reviewed research on executive function and neurodiversity.
- 2
Profile analysis
We don't compare your child to "normal"; we describe how their brain works.
- 3
Personal content strategy
Age, audience and context determine what the report covers.
- 4
AI generation
Claude reads the profile and writes the report in plain language.
- 5
19-step quality control
Automated checks for stigmatising language, factual errors, age-inappropriate wording.
- 6
Delivery
Your child receives a report that leads with strengths, not with what's "wrong".
Why we build MindNavigator
We're Glenn Bosch and Rob van der Linden. We built MindNavigator because we saw what many parents see: children waiting months on mental-health waitlists, while tension builds at home and self-image erodes at school.
We don't want to hand out diagnoses — that's what psychologists are for. We want to give parents and children something concrete sooner: insight into how the brain works, in their own language, with respect for who the child is.
We're still in beta. We're building with our first families — if you join, you genuinely shape where we grow next.
Honest answers to your questions
We understand you have doubts. Here are our honest answers.
No. MindNavigator provides educational insights, not a medical diagnosis. We help you understand how your child thinks. That's different from a DSM classification. If you suspect ADHD, autism or other neurodivergence, we always recommend contacting a professional.
You can fill in the parent assessment yourself without your child. You'll get insight from your perspective. Later your child can optionally fill it in themselves for a more complete picture.
100%. We are GDPR compliant, store data in Europe, and never sell anything. Your data is yours.
The report is a starting point based on your own answers — it reflects what you fill in. Most parents recognise the insights straight away. If something doesn't fit, that can mean the situation at home differs from school. That contrast is itself valuable information.
The free report already gives full insights into 5 domains. Premium (from €22.50/month) adds 3 extra domains, the comparison report, the School Type Compass and practical tools. 7-day free trial, cancel anytime.
MindNavigator is designed for children aged 6 to 18. The questions and report are tailored to your child's age — from primary school to secondary school. Both the parent and the child (from around age 10) can complete the assessment.
Many parents with a child who already has a diagnosis (ADHD, autism, dyslexia) use MindNavigator precisely to look beyond the label. The report describes how your specific child functions — not the average ADHD profile, but this child, now. That provides additional insight that a diagnosis alone does not offer.
